Hey folks! Been awhile since I've put anything on here! I hope all crochet hooks have been busy!
We've been on a hot streat this month on our etsy shop! Woo hoo! Lots of loveys going out!
I've been putting forth some small little commercials on facebook, pinterest and instagram. Pinterest seems to be where it's at!
It's really hard to be a small handmade shop and make it work and show any kind of profit but we're trying we love to make the loveys and it helps with my anxiety!
Need some patterns check them out here www.etsy.com/shop/krafternoongifts2

This collection of patterns is our most popular! So if you want to make all three of these guys you only need 5 skeins all together to make this whole set and have left over. This collection is super easy to make! Novice crocheters can easily pull thsee guys off and look like they are pros! They are great for the holidays coming up give to that hard to buy for person for Halloween or christmas! We always have Internet super close to help woth any problems ypu may have or exactly what yarn to use to make it super soft but still hold a great shape.

Ok so here is our new troll doll and an older one but with the new movie coming up we are stocking up on there little yellow guys.
We have patterns in our shop for lots of the dolls or if you want to save time buy it made.

I've learned if I only need one it cost me more in the long run to buy all the different color yarns.
Take the minion for example to make this guy you need yellow, blue, white, black and brown to make him.
That's 5 skeins of yarn! Now you can use a cheaper yarn but they are scratchy and I wouldn't suggest if for ltitle ones what kid wants a painful toy to play with. So we go to the higher brand.
Now I can get a great yarn for 3.99 a skein. So that's gonna run 20.00 plus tax and your time. Wow that's crazy! Yes you will have left over but who knows when your gonna use it right? Add it to the horder pile.

Now we sell them for 20.00 and have free shipping and most are shipped within 2 or 3 days after the payment is made. This is how it is on most crafts unless your making bulk items it's not worth it to try and do it yourself unless your just dead set on making a project to which I say carry on and never stop creating.
I purchase on etsy things I lile but don't make in bulk. It saves me time and money as well as not having crazy left over sitting in a bag in the corner and never using it. (What a waste of money)
I try to support local or handmade businesses. It's getting really bad for brick and mortor shops to make it with all the online selling and handmade has a hard time competing with overseas prices. When someone buys from me it goes for kids school books, kids clothes, paying household bills ect... it doesn't go to China.
Buy local support America!
